Protection of Personal data and payment information
The Company undertakes to keep confidential any Client payment data and adheres to a policy of non-proliferation concerning personal Client data. All payment transactions are processed via a secure connection and are safeguarded by strict internal protection measures.
1. When the Client first accesses the Platform, he/she is asked to enter certain basic personal details, which are held in strict confidence. The Client undertakes to keep his/her login credentials secret, and not to disclose them to third parties.
2. The Client undertakes to immediately notify the company if he/she becomes aware or suspects that his/her credentials or account number has become known or could become known to third parties. In this case, the Company will take measures to prevent any further use of these credentials and will create new credentials for the Client, who will not be able to place any orders prior to receiving new credentials.
3. The Client undertakes to facilitate any investigation which the Company may initiate into the illegal use or allegedly fraudulent use of the Client’s credentials.
4. The Client recognizes that the Company is not responsible or liable if unauthorized third parties gain access to the Client’s personal data, including email addresses, electronic communications and other personal information at the time of transfer of the data between the Company and the Client, or when using the internet, other network communications facilities, telephone or any other electronic means of communication. In the event that the Company receives notification from a reliable source that the Client’s credentials could be accessed by unauthorized third parties, the Company may, at its sole discretion, and without any obligation to the Client, deactivate the Client’s Account.
